The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has said that the medical plane that crashed in Chatra district of Jharkhand took off from Ranchi at 7:11 pm. "After establishing contact with Kolkata, the aircraft requested deviation due to weather. At 19:34 IST aircraft lost communication and RADAR contact with Kolkata," the DGCA said. All seven on board were killed.
