I won't work for Muslims as they didn't vote for me, says WB BJP MLA Ritesh Tiwari; sparks row
Ritesh Tiwari, BJP MLA for the Kashipur-Belgachhia constituency in Kolkata, said he would not work for Muslims because not a single one of them voted for him in the elections. "Those who voted for me have a right over me. I have limited resources, which I will share with those who voted for me," he added. CPI(M) condemned his remark.
