The National Task Force (NTF) on Mental Health and Prevention of Suicides in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) has visited 30 HEIs across 10 states since May 2025. The Supreme Court constituted the NTF in March 2025 to "address...rising...student suicides and to examine mental health...concerns among students", the PIB stated. NTF has time till October 2026 to file its final report.
