A government doctor in Kerala has been booked for allegedly prescribing an excessive dose of paracetamol to a six-month-old infant after vaccination, causing the baby to fall seriously ill. The child's father lodged a complaint against the doctor at Aluva Government District Hospital. The medicine was prescribed to prevent post-vaccination fever after the infant received immunisation in April.
