South Korean company Samsung Electronics is laying off thousands of employees in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Bloomberg reported. The layoffs could affect about 10% of the workforce in these markets, however, Samsung is not planning layoffs in its home market. Samsung recently cut about 10% of jobs in India and some parts of Latin America, the report added.
