India sources only 40% crude oil through Hormuz Strait: Report

Only 40% of India's crude and fuel is supplied through the Hormuz Strait, senior government sources told NDTV Profit. This comes after recent fears over an oil supply shortage due to the closure of the Hormuz Strait, which is wide enough to handle the world's largest crude oil tankers. Meanwhile, Russia has reportedly agreed to help India with oil supplies.
