A video showed a Sub-Inspector thrashing a roadside vendor in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha and forcibly taking away his coconuts in a car. Responding to the video, the Amroha Police said the Sub-Inspector was clearing encroachments when the vendor threw coconuts onto the road and that he was just removing the coconuts from there. However, Sub-Inspector was transferred to police lines.
