short by Dharini Mudgal / on Saturday, 6 December, 2025
NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule has introduced the 'Right to Disconnect Bill, 2025' in Lok Sabha. The Bill proposes that employees should be allowed not to entertain work-related calls and emails outside work hours and on holidays. It aims to ensure work-life balance and reduce stress, and also proposes a 1% remuneration-based penalty on companies that violate the rule.
