Ten people, including four children, were killed in a stampede in Nigeria’s Abuja after a crowd gathered to collect food and clothing items distributed by church at an annual Christmas event. Police stated over 1,000 people were evacuated from the church after the incident. Earlier, at least 35 children were killed in a stampede at school fair in the country.
