A joint study by the NHAI and the Wildlife Institute of India found that wildlife mitigation measures along the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor are highly effective. Conducted on the 18-km Ganeshpur-Asharodi section, the study recorded 40,444 images. It documented 18 unique wild species, including various carnivores, herbivores, ungulates, pheasants, and primates, utilising the underpass.
