'24-hour city' model proposed in Delhi Master Plan 2047; 24x7 metro also in plans
Delhi's Master Plan 2047 proposed a '24-hour city' concept under which selected "nodes, precincts or circuits" will remain open round the clock to attract locals and tourists. It also includes 24x7 transport, including metro services, in these areas, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said. The model aims to promote a "vibrant nightlife and boost local economy", as per the document.
