800,000 cusecs discharge expected at Mundali amid Odisha flood threat

Odisha faces severe flood threat as Mahanadi river system may discharge up to 800,000 cusecs through Mundali by Monday morning. Low-lying areas in Khurda, Cuttack, Puri and Jagatsinghpur are at risk. Northern rivers Baitarani, Salandi and Subarnarekha flow above danger levels, affecting 41 panchayats. CM Majhi conducted aerial survey of flood-hit districts.
