NCERT issued an “unconditional and unqualified apology" on Tuesday for the controversial content on the judiciary in the NCERT Class 8 book. "The entire book has been withdrawn and is not available. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate the understanding of all stakeholders," NCERT posted on X. This comes after CJI Surya Kant had criticised the content.
