The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) has issued a note to Telegram under the Information Technology Act, 2000, directing it to remove pirated content from its platform. The action follows complaints from various OTT platforms, including JioCinema and Amazon Prime Video, alleging large-scale piracy of copyrighted films and shows on Telegram.
