Hegseth warns Iran, says US will sink oil tankers if Navy is attacked

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth warned Iran that the US would destroy Iranian oil tankers if Tehran attacks US Navy ships. "All they have to do is not shoot at US Navy," he said, calling Iran’s oil tanker fleet "defenceless". His remarks came after Iran claimed to have attacked a US aircraft carrier and destroyer.
