2,935 booked for eve-teasing during Ganesh Chaturthi in Hyderabad

Hyderabad SHE Teams booked 2,935 people for eve-teasing during Ganesh Chaturthi festivities from September 14 to 26. Of these, 858 were counselled and released, while 69 were convicted. Among the convicted, 24 paid fines, 40 performed social service, and five faced both fine and imprisonment. Teams were deployed at Khairatabad and Balapur Ganesh Mandaps.
