DIIs took 39 days to invest ₹1 lakh cr in 2026, take just 12 to invest another ₹1 lakh cr
Domestic institutional investors (DIIs), who invested ₹1 lakh crore in equities in 39 trading sessions this year, took 12 sessions to deploy another ₹1 lakh crore. The surge in buying comes amid a sharp correction in markets triggered by Middle East war. DIIs saw record inflows of over ₹7.75 lakh crore in 2025 and over ₹5.23 lakh crore in 2024.
