According to the government, a person can self-enumerate by accessing the portal (se.census.gov.in) and logging in using mobile number. They will then have to identify the location on the map, fill in the household details and submit it. The person will then get an SE ID, which has to be provided to the enumerator for confirmation and inclusion in Census.
