TMC leader Prakash Chik Baraik on Thursday said that he resigned as the party’s Rajya Sabha MP, accepting the mandate of the people of West Bengal. When asked whether he would join the BJP, Baraik said, “Time will tell.” He has become the third TMC Rajya Sabha MP to quit within a week, after Sukhendu Sekhar Ray and Sushmita Dev.
