Tricolour hoisted at New York's Times Square on Independence Day

The tricolour was hoisted in New York's Times Square to mark India's 80th Independence Day. The flag was hoisted by Consul General Binay Srikant Pradhan, as the Indian Consulate said, "The heart of New York, Times Square, witnessed the Tricolour". The Empire State Building in New York also lit up in the Tricolour to mark the occasion on Saturday.
