200 detained in Delhi, CPI slams security crackdown amid CJP row

CPI leader Annie Raja condemned heavy security deployment in Delhi during CJP's protest demanding CEC Gyanesh Kumar's resignation and opposing the SIR exercise. Around 200 protesters were detained near Connaught Place. UP Minister Sanjay Nishad said resignations shouldn't be demanded without evidence or investigation. Delhi Police cited lack of protest permission.
