Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk on Sunday began a hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. The hunger strike began with a two-minute silence in the presence of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke. CJP has been holding a protest at Jantar Mantar since June 20.
