At least eight people have been killed in a molten metal leak at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. "The incident was triggered by the explosion of a ladle carrying molten steel at a very high temperature," Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Circle Inspector Kesav Rao said. Emergency personnel have arrived at the scene and are attempting to bring the fire under control.
