A picture of a 78-year-old woman who reached a polling station in Bengaluru on a stretcher to cast her vote has gone viral. The woman, who was rushed to a hospital in Jayanagar on Tuesday with symptoms of cough and breathlessness, was on Oxygen support. Upon assessment, the woman named Kalavathi was diagnosed with pneumonia.
