Talking about 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi who was bought by RR for ₹1.1 crore in IPL 2025 auction, RR captain Sanju Samson said Suryavanshi was hitting sixes at the academy. "People were already talking about his power-hitting. What else can you ask for?" he stated. Suryavanshi is the youngest player to earn an IPL contract.
