India 10-yr bond yields to ease to 6.75-7% by Mar 2027: SBI Research

India's 10-year government bond yields may ease to 6.75–7% by March 2027, with the rupee likely to appreciate, SBI Research said in its latest Ecowrap report. Short-term volatility could push yields to 7.6%. Bond buybacks have reduced gross borrowing by ₹1.23 lakh crore, supporting yields. India-US yield spread stands at ~250 basis points.
