15-year-old girl, who kept waiting for 13 years for heart surgery in AIIMS, dies

A 15-year-old girl from Rajasthan's Kota, Tanvi, died at AIIMS Delhi on Tuesday, after waiting for 13 years for heart surgery. Tanvi first came to AIIMS in October 2012. Her father, Mukesh Pariyani, revealed that they kept returning to AIIMS and were given assurance several times that she would be operated on. "They just kept running tests," he added.
