An Iranian football delegation, including federation chief Mehdi Taj, returned from Canada and missed FIFA’s annual congress after being allegedly "insulted" by immigration officials at Toronto airport. Canada defended its stance, saying individuals were linked to Iran's IRGC, which it designates as a terrorist group. Taj, a former IRGC member, was reportedly granted special entry.
