Wipro will acquire select client contracts from California-based IT firm Alpha Net Group for $71 million, to enhance its AI and consulting services. This takes its total acquisition spend in April to nearly $500 million, the company said in a filing. Last week, Wipro acquired Mindsprint, the IT arm of food company Olam Group, for $375 million.
