Bikaner Sweets, Maharaja Sweets among 6 units shut after inspections in K'taka

Karnataka FDA inspected 16 sweet manufacturing units across Bengaluru and several districts and seized food products worth ₹5.99 lakh, HT reported. Officials found hundreds of kgs of expired and mislabelled products, along with unhygienic conditions. Six units, including Bikaner Sweets on Bengaluru's Magadi Road, Maharaja Sweets in Kalaburagi and Swagath Sweets in Mangaluru, were temporarily shut.
