Tata Steel India sales up 8%, output rises 10%

Tata Steel's overall sales dipped to 7.96 million tons from 8.02 million tons last year, as UK and Netherlands markets underperformed. However, India sales grew 8% to 5.97 million tons, while domestic crude steel output rose 10%, driven by Jamshedpur and Kalinganagar plants. The Automotive segment surged 19%.
