Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSR Congress Party government of using ghee adulterated with bathroom-cleaning chemicals to prepare Tirupati laddus. He said the alleged acts were an attempt to "undermine the prestige of Lord Venkateswara Swamy with adulterated prasadam", calling it the "greatest sin against God".
