Actress Kanchan, who appeared alongside Salman Khan in 'Sanam Bewafa', stepped away from Bollywood after being repeatedly typecast in supporting roles. She later entered the South Indian movie industry, where she got opportunity to star as the lead. Kanchan, who quit the film industry in the late 90s, now reportedly works as a drama teacher in a Mumbai institution.
