Four ships, including an Indian-flagged cargo carrier, reportedly took a trick route to bypass Iran's chokehold on the Strait of Hormuz. The ships entered Oman's territorial waters near the Emirati city of Ras Al Khaimah and turned off their position-emitting transponders near Musandam Peninsula. They sailed while hugging the Omani coast and were later spotted 350 km off Muscat's coast.
