Bangladesh HM to skip BIMSTEC home ministers meet in New Delhi

Bangladesh Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed will skip the first BIMSTEC home ministers' meeting in New Delhi. Senior Secretary Manzur Morshed Chowdhury will lead Dhaka's delegation instead. The decision comes amid strained India-Bangladesh ties following Sheikh Hasina's ouster in August 2024 and her subsequent stay in India.
