Ratnagiri Crime Branch arrested Adil Ashraf Sheikh, 30, for possessing brown heroin worth ₹77,500. Fifteen packets of heroin were found in his bag during a patrol led by Inspector Nitin Dhere. They observed the man seated on a two-wheeler and engaging in suspicious behavior at Jaystambh. His motorcycle was also confiscated.
