The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on Sunday claimed that Hezbollah was behind the attack on UN Peacekeepers in Lebanon which killed one French personnel and injured three others. "A Hezbollah terrorist cell opened fire towards UNIFIL forces while they attempted to clear unexploded ordnance in...southern Lebanon," it said. French President Emmanuel Macron had also blamed Hezbollah for the attack.
