Delhi tribunal awards ₹14.49 lakh to truck driver's family

A Delhi Motor Accident Claims Tribunal awarded ₹9.82 lakh plus 6% annual interest, totalling over ₹14.49 lakh, to the family of truck driver Puran Mal, killed in a 2018 Rajasthan road accident. The tribunal blamed the trailer driver's rash driving, rejected contributory negligence claims, and exonerated the insurer after its policy was found fake.
