External Affairs Ministry clarified that reports of a fourth Indian-crewed tanker being attacked near Oman were "fake". Reports had claimed that four Indian nationals had died in the attack. The Foreward Seamen's Union of India first said it'd lost contact with the tanker, but later shared an update with a video of the tanker's crew saying, "All ok...Negative, no fire."
