Congress MLA TD Raje Gowda, who won by 201 votes in Sringeri in Karnataka in 2023, saw a reduction in polled votes by 255 after a recount and reverification. Gowda was contesting against DN Jeevaraj, who had challenged the result, following which the Karnataka HC ordered a recount. "As per the current count, I have the majority," Jeevaraj said.
