OpenAI released internal iMessages showing its engineer Chang Liu, a former Apple employee accused of stealing confidential files, was contacted by ex-colleagues after leaving the company. The messages show Apple employees sought Liu's help locating files and recalling technical information. OpenAI accused Apple of making "vague accusations" and termed the lawsuit "aggressive and oddly personal".
