PM Modi again asks Indians to avoid buying gold

PM Narendra Modi reiterated his call for Indians to avoid buying gold unless necessary, urging citizens to support domestic production and self-reliance to help sustain India's economic growth. While hailing India's GDP growth of 7.8% in Q1 of FY27, PM also urged citizens to support "Swadeshi" and "Vocal for Local", and choose India for weddings rather than travelling abroad.
