Supreme Court has imposed a fine of ₹10 crore each on 10 private dental colleges in Rajasthan for irregularities in admissions. The apex court found that Rajasthan government reduced NEET percentile first by 10% then a further 5% against the required minimum percentile for BDS students. Court said standards of medical education were undermined in the case.
