A former junior employee at Swiggy embezzled ₹33 crore, Moneycontrol reported citing the company's annual report. An external team was asked to investigate the matter and Swiggy has filed a legal complaint against the ex-employee, the report said. "Based on review of the facts discovered during the investigation, the group has recorded an expense for the aforementioned amount," Swiggy said.
