Some artificial sweeteners may be linked to heart diseases: Study

As per study, consumption of some artificial sweeteners may be associated with a greater risk of overall cardiovascular diseases. Researchers analysed artificial sweeteners in regular food products and found that aspartame present in it was linked to an increased risk of cerebrovascular events, while acesulfame potassium and sucralose were associated with a greater risk of coronary heart disease.
