Indians will spend ₹4.25 lakh crore on 35 lakh weddings to be held between November and mid-December, according to a report by Prabhudas Lilladher. As per CAIT, India has already witnessed over 42 lakh weddings between January 15 and July 15, which accounted for total expenditure of ₹5.5 lakh crore. India's wedding industry accounts for annual spending of $130 billion.
