Republican Bo French, who made racist anti-India comments, loses Texas election

Republican Bo French has lost to Democrat Jon Rosenthal in the Texas election for Railroad Commissioner. The three-member Texas Railroad Commission governs the state's oil and gas industry. French had sparked massive backlash after targeting Indian and South Asian students in a racist post showing students enjoying a football game by saying, "many Americans have been displaced by foreigners".
