Alexander Zverev becomes 1st German man to win French Open in 89 years, gets ₹31 crore

World number three Alexander Zverev of Germany defeated world number 14 Flavio Cobolli of Italy in French Open 2026 men's singles final to win his maiden Grand Slam title. He defeated Cobolli 6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 6-7(5-7), 6-1 to become the first German man to win French Open singles title in 89 years. He received €2.80-million (around ₹31-crore) prize money.
