Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw has criticised solid waste management department of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for not clearing garbage from the streets. The Bengaluru-based Executive Chairperson of Biocon reacted to a video shared on X, which showed a long stretch of Outer Ring Road covered in trash. "Disgusting sight. @BBMPSWMSplComm needs to act swiftly to clean up this...mess," she wrote.
