Talking about Ranveer Singh being interested in playing role of Shaktimaan, actor Mukesh Khanna said, "You can't just come to my office and say, 'I want to be Shaktimaan'...that's not allowed." He added, "He still has a lot of zeal and wants to play the role...For Shaktimaan, we don't need a big or small actor...we need the right face."
